Giulia Civardi is a curator and writer living and working between London and Italy.
Her curatorial projects have been presented at ‘Curated by’ Vienna, Tate Modern, Rupert Centre for Art and Education, Kunstraum London, and the Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation, where she currently serves as Curator. Recent exhibitions include ‘The Soup’ at Madragoa, Lisbon, and ‘REVIVAL’ at Francesca Minini, Milan — the first in a series of exhibitions exploring intergenerational dialogues across visual art and sound.
Since 2025, she has been curator of ‘Steps’ at Art Verona – a section dedicated to young galleries and experimental art spaces. Since 2020, she is Curator and Collection Manager at Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation, where she works on exhibitions, commissions, as well as collection research & care, with a focus on overlooked perspectives in contemporary art and design. She is an activist and researcher for Art Workers Italia︎︎︎︎︎︎, was part of the curatorial team of DEMO Moving Image︎︎︎︎︎︎, and was the founder of Grey Cube 113︎︎︎(2016-2017).
She has guest lectured about art and culture at Central Saint Martins, Goldsmiths University, Barbican Centre, Fine Arts Academy Venice, Pirelli HangarBicocca. She holds an MA in Art Theory from Goldsmiths University, and a BA in Cultural Studies from Central Saint Martins.
Her writing, spanning essays, fiction, and critical texts, has appeared in NERO, Flash Art, CURA, and Silvana Editoriale.
